Getting the script to auto-run

Post by boristhemoggy »

If I press F6, then click Run, I set the IMDB script in motion for the selected movie.

It may sound lazy but, is it possible to hit a key and have both the F6 action and the 'click' on the run button actioned at the same time? I know now there's an F9, so F6 then F9 sets the script in motion, is it possible to limit this to one keystroke?

In other words, after selecting a default site, in this case IMDB, is it possible to get a 'one click' solution to downloading the details?

This is not desperately necessary, but I now have my entire collection ported out to AntCat and I am extremely happy with it, so little tweaks like this are just full of 'smile factor' rather than essential. :)

On menu choose Tools -> Preferences -> Scripting -> Auto-run last script used with "Get information from script", now you can start the script with F6.
