Custom Template that works but can't be modified

Some time ago I designed I template that perfectly fits my needs for movies. Now I would like to use it for TV shows and I wanted to replace the "RATING" with the number of episodes. But if I open up the template in the designer, it appears empty with just a couple of boxes. As I said, the template still works when printing a PDF page. What happened? Is it corrupted? Here I attach it:

Hi,
There is a box in front of the other fields.
If you move it or send it to back, you see all other field and can modify them.
