If I remember correct, only internal pictures are converted and copied with XML file. If you had a catalog with internal and external pictures mixed up for whatever reason, you will have to copy external pictures manually.

aaaaand... another problem: If you have a movie with "different original titles" (separated by | or another invalid character) and you want to export the covers with the "original title" in the filename, then those covers are skipped.

Strange, I thought that the character was remplaced by a "-" ... I'll check that.

I tested it with a new catalog and with the movie:
The original title "Saam gwok dzi gin lung se gap"
The original (English) title "Resurrection of the dragon"
The german "translated title" is "Three Kingdoms: Der Krieg der drei Königreiche"

Therefore, my formatted title looks like

Three Kingdoms: Der Krieg der drei Königreiche (Saam gwok dzi gin lung se gap | Resurrection of the dragon)

I imported the data of the movie with cinefacts.de script (and with world-of-video.de and others). On most websites had the original title been separated with a "|". This char is also written in the xml-catalog. In the Edit field in AMC you see two squares (not printable char, I guess).

When trying to add a cover, it is not stored, because the file cannot be created with that name :(
I tested it also with a couple of other movies. It seems, that the ":" does not lead to problems. But you should check it for yourself again.

Indeed the "|" isn't even properly read from the XML :??: I wonder what causes that, but in the meantime except using another character I do not know what you could do...

I replaced all my | with another character and now it work's like a charm :)

But probably you could try to fix it in a future version :D
