It's AMC for me?

Hello,
maybe some1 can reply to this question?
I'm looking for something able to do this 2 simple operations, automatically of course:
1) import in the database a simple .TXT film names list (my actual film list) where every line it's a title
2) look on internet for every name in database and, if a title it's found, complete database title with film information.

I have tested AMC in the past but i dont found a simple and fast way to do this.

For the 1, you can do that with the "text/csv" import
For the 2, that's done with any of the scripts in tools -> scripting
If you already found these functions, how weren't they simple/fast enough?

Both functions exist at least since 2002
