Grouping by director surname?

I was hoping to use AMC to make a quick list of my dvd collection, alphabetized by director surname/year/title, so I can combine a bunch of DVDs into a single case in an orderly fashion. It's been great on the quick list part- importing data from IMDB was a snap. But the director grouping only seems to list by first name; is there any way around this without manually cut/pasting 800+ entries?

You can swap the names using a script, see for example this thread: viewtopic.php?t=4232
