Group some Movies in one Number

Post by Romeo »

Hello, is it possible to group more than one movie under one number ?
Many movies are sold in collections. For example the "fight collection". On this DVD are the movies ALI and FIGHT CLUB. Is it possible to group those movies under one number ?

thnx

You can add multiple movies using the same number. If you use auto numbering (=let the program choose the next free number for a movie), you can change the number of a movie manually (right click on a movie or hit F2, then choose "Allow duplicate").

And by using Tools -> Group by, you can have them displayed in group. You may have to tweak one or two options in Tools -> Preferences -> Grouping to avoid having other movies put in a "others" group (I do not remember what are the default settings).

Are you sure ? I can set all movies to same number here..

Or is it just that the movie & number selection window does not show "Accept duplicate" anymore (the options are greyed) ? That is correct, as these options are shown only for movie numbers that have no duplicate yet. Try setting number and simply click ok then, it should work.
