ant movie 3.5.1.2 export CSV Text

Post by R!C »

I have downloaded this version... but I have find a, probably, error:
when I export all in csv text, office 2007 present and Vista 64, don't work and export a list of Movie but completely wrong
(on the 3.5.1 work normally)
another little bug is the "N°" not present but is indicate a "NY" or something like this
Thanks for your good and important work!

Nothing changed in the CSV export between these versions, I think.
Did you test both AMC versions on the same Office & Windows versions?
What do you mean by "completely wrong"?

"N°" is indeed "NÝ" in the Italian translation, I have no idea why it is like that... but it was already the case previously, this didn't change. I guess that the one who made the translation wanted to write N° but something went wrong in the encoding. I'll change that.

Maybe I'm wrong, but if I should have a guess:
You made some specific settings for your csv export (e.g field delimiter, replace linebreaks, sorting of fields) and installed the new version to a new folder. As Ant Movie Catalog saves your specific settings and loads them on your next exprot, you might have lost them with the new installation and need to set new ones that fit your needs. Or you could try to copy your old prefs.xml file to the new installation if you have backed it up somewhere.

It's ok... i have exported all the setting and now work!
I have changed the NY in N° in the Ita language and the Number of Dvd's "N°" now is ok...
Thanks for your work and for your support!
