Removing a script

Post by Nosnibor »

Hello all. This is my first post. I'm new to "Ant Movie Catalog", about a month now, and so far am VERY pleased with the product :grinking: I have two(2) questions for y'all----

1) Besides using the "Language Filter", how do I REMOVE a specific "SCRIPT" from the list of available scripts used for getting info for a movie?

2) Can I use this program for cataloguing my music, and are there script for music?

Simply delete the script file from AMC's script folder (probably C:/Programs/Ant Movie Catalog/Scripts/). On scripting window you can see the script's file name on the bottom of the window when you mark a script and click on "Editor". Be careful with *.pas files, as these units may be needed by some other scripts and don't delete Update_scripts.ifs if you want to download script updates from within AMC later (but you can still download manually from http://update.antp.be/amc/scripts/ ).
2) Can I use this program for cataloguing my music, and are there script for music?
Check the "Mods" section of the forum for that. There are some modifications, but I don't know if there's a working script currently.

You can use AMC to catalog nearly anything except games because there is a dedicated software to do this "Sisimizi Game Catalog"

For music you may be interested in that topic !

Mod is in english, but french translation is in progress and you can translate it in your native language by editing .lng file with Notepad (Plain text)

If you need more info on translations please check AMC help (Technical info\Language files)

Well, in fact you can use AMC even for games, as the Jeuxvideo thread on forum shows - it's just the question if it makes sense ;)

Unfortunately the Jeuxvideo script has not been adapted for Sisimizi Game Catalog yet, although it should be quite easy to do if it works in general (only change some fieldnames and script preferences).
