Hi,
It is a text/csv export, not a real Excel export actually, so it contains just plain text.
There is maybe a way to apply a template to a CSV file in Excel, but I do not know Excel enough to help you on that.

I think it is possible to have a preformatted spreadsheet, and import .csv file into it from data menu (instead of opening the .csv directly).

Another way would be not to export your movielist, but to save your catalog as xml. Then link an excelsheet to the xml file

You then can change the layout the way you want, but there's no need the import the data each time, just a refresh will do:

Depending on your version of Excel there's a different approach.
I have Office 2007 (dutch, for English see below):

***** Dutch ******
- Tab "Gegevens"
- Group "Externe gegevens ophalen"
- Optie "Van andere bronnen"
- kies voor xml-bestand
- Selecteer bestand (negeer melding over ontbreken schema)

***** English ******
Same procedure in english (just a shot in the dark, have no english version at hand)

- Tab "Data"
- Group "External data"
- Option "other sources"
- XML file
- Select file (ignore message about missing scheme)
- Excel sheet is linked to xml data file.

Now edit some data in AMC and save the xml file.

Then in Excel:
- Tab "Design"
- Group "External table\data"
- Option "Refresh"
The changed data should now be visible in your Excel sheet.

Let me know if you need assistance with earlier versions of Excel.

Good luck!
