CSV Import with pictures?

Post by Graal_CPM »

Hi!

I have a 800+ lines csv file with last column being picture name in the form of "databasename_MovieNumber.jpg", all pictures stored in the same directory.
In the drop down list for importing csv there is no choice for the "Picture" field. Hence, I manage to import all data I need into AMC (thanx for the very usefull help file :grinking: ) EXCEPT pictures...
I have tried to use complete path name for pictures, with no success.

I don't want to reassign 800 pictures by hand :(
Does anyone know of a trick to do that?

It is unfortunately not yet possible :/
I can try to quickly add this option next time I update the program, probably before this week-end

Antp you're da man! :grinking:
I couldn't dream of a more idealistic answer to my problem!
... I was ready to try importing my stuff into Divx Manager or BaseDVDivx, to then import again in AMC. I'm glad I won't have to go through this mess...
I'll stay tuned. Merci encore!

Problem solved!!

I have just picked the MSDOS amcimgimport available at antp page, et voila : a brand new movie catalog that suits my every needs!!

I'll be happy to discover the new AMC version anyway.

Thanx again for your adamant support antp!

I forgot that I made this program
Well, that's nice if it works :)
But I will add anyway an option for picture filename import in the CSV Import, it may be useful for people that have their image with less well formated names.
