Everything you write in the [Tools]-->[Preferences]-->[Drop-down lists] gets saved. That's great, so you don't have to write repeated info over and over again.
But... It seems that the info gets saved within the program.
And when there is an update to the program (bug-fixes and other things), the info gets erased. And then you HAVE TO write the info again.
Wouldn't it be better (or read: Is it possible) to have such info stored in an external file? Perhaps in the saved catalog, along with the 'movie pictures'?
The info are stored in the main preferences file (moviecatalog.xml)
When you install a new version it should not overwrite it (I think, if it does it is a bug and I have to correct it).
If you use the .zip file to install the program, you should not overwrite this xml file.
