Changing Numbers

Is there a way to change what numbers the program allows? I would like to enter 1/2 (or.5) and and combinations of numbers and letters (i.e. 1a, 1b etc.). Is it possible to edit this? I'm not a programmer at all... so any help would be appreciated.

You mean for the movie number? It is stored as integer number, it cannot be changed easily.
The Media Label field was added for cases like that, though.
