Post by Stooovie »

DivX Manager import imports only data, I cannot import pictures. I´ve tried all ways - copy, link... Am I missing something? Thanks in advance.

That's strange, it seems that it was working with old versions... which version of EMM were you using ?

Maybe I can be of help here!

The import from EMM1.2b1 works just fine!

probably the thing you're doing wrong Stooovie is that you're copying the database file into another dir and then try to import it. The links to the pictures however are path relative and of course Ant Movie Catalog can not find the pictures to import! ;)

just follow these steps and everything will work out fine!

1. open AMC and save the empty DB into a new dir you create (this way you can also use the "Copy + link" for pictures you want to import)
2. import the EMM database from the Database directory of EMM (you can zip it or keep a backup if you want to be sure nothing wrong will happen)
3. chose any picture importing mode you want (tried them all and they're working)

P.S. keep in mind that Ant Movie Catalog only imports the 1st picture for every movie (it only uses 1 picture in general) and has fewer fields (only the important ones in my oppinion)

have fun :)

Thanks ;)
I forgot that.
Since EMM stores pictures in a subfolder of the folder where the database is located, there is no way (I think) to find the pictures if the database is moved without the pictures folder...
