Export Images in Catalog to externally linked Images

I have a movie catalog with over 500 movies. I was told to speed up the opening of the Catalog I could export my movie cover images to the catalog folder and then linked them to the database. How do you do this with out doing it one by one? I changed the preferences so that any new movie images that are added will be linked externally, but how do I export the images that are allready in the catalog to be linked?

One easy solution is to save your catalog to xml format (in file->save as)
Make a backup first, just in case of
You can then use the xml file, or just save it back to amc format if you prefer.
