Preview NOT working ??? Enabling auto-preview ?

I started Ant Renamer from USB stick and dragged some files on the files pane. Then I went to "Actions" tab and entered some simple
search and replace patterns within "String replacement".

When I clicked on the "Files" tab back again I expected to see the
new file names as preview. But the column remains empty.

However If I click "go" then all the file names are renamed (as intended).
In general I would like to preview the new file names.

Do I have to enable somewhere the "auto-preview" feature?

Can I somewhere force AntRenamer to create preview filenames ?

The only "auto" preview is the own shown in the action tab, for the selected file.
The preview column is updated only when you click on the "preview" icon.

Is it possible to add an auto-refresh option in the next version so that I do not have to explicitely click on the "Refresh preview" icon ?

You can click on the "preview" icon instead of clicking on the "files" tab: it will bring you back to the files tab anyway, so there is no extra click compared to an auto-update.
