Hi,
I have a problem updating from the internet my movies' details. When I insert a movie, and try to get information from internet with script an error message pops up
Socet Error # 10061
Connection refused.
Does this have to do because I do not have administrative rights, and there is probably a firewall blocking it? Can you please help me with this?
Also if it is easy, can you please make a plug in for importing all info and pics from All My Movies to AMC?
For any more comments I will try the appropriate topic. (as soon as I can work with AMC, at last!)
Thank you!
Help :(
Hi,
If it happens for all scripts, it is probably due to a firewall, missing proxy configuration, or something like that.
If it only happens for one script (or some), it may be due to the fact that the script is outdated or the site unavailable.
Importing from other formats is planned for the future, but like many other things planned I do not know when I will add these. Isn't there a text, csv or excel export in "All My Movies"? You could then reimport that file.

The proxy settings for AMC can be found in the menu :Neo wrote:How can I find these proxy settings, and how can I put tem in AMC? (I really don't know much about proxies). Firewall has been disabled but still cannot update from internet.

I 'm using a provider in Netherlands.
Thank you all for you time and for your help.
-> Tools -> Preferences -> Scripting or
-> Gereedschappen -> Vorkeuren -> Scenario
But you need to know a proxy address before. Some provider offer free proxy access to their user, that's why I asked for your provider

Maybe you should first have a look on your browser settings:
for IE: go to extras-preferences-(internet)options-connection settings (or similar, I have different language here)
for Firefox: go to extras-preferences-network-connection settings
There you find proxy settings if you have a proxy configured for your browser. If so, you can use these settings for AMC, too.
Another possibility could be that you use software from Kaspersky or Symantec. Seems this software often must be configured carefully.
