No picture comes with DVDEmpire script

Post by EricAllenStiles »

I liked to go to DVDEmpire to down load movie picture. They have high quality pictures. Now all of the sudden the script won't work. Is anybody else having that problem? :(

Fixed.

I just tested 3 films, please report if there are more problems.
I did not change version number of the script, as it has not been written by myself (just added a 'bugfixed').

Download: http://service.gmx.net/mc/7h3SeejwudztO ... TVv0WWAQgK
(temporary address, just hit 'GMX Media Center starten' in the middle of the screen, then choose the file you want, hit 'datei' and 'download' - and you're done)

Can I ask why the script isn't in temp/script?

You can find it in version 3.5.0.2 package of Ant Movie Catalog on http://www.antp.be/software/moviecatalog/download .

If you are using an older version of the program and you do not want to install this one, you can download the .rar archived package and just copy the missing script to your local scripts directory.

Seems antp cleaned up the scripts' download directory after recent scripts have been added to the installation package. Bad for people who did not use the program for some months ;)

Sorry, but I cannot upload the latest version of the script again, as my webspace is down at the moment.

Indeed, some time after that the scripts are included in the official package, they are removed from there. That is a temporary location (hence the "temp" folder :D)

First, thanks for the answer.

I use the program everyday(more or less), but i add movies from time to time, and i keep track of the version of the software (3.5.0.2), not the versions of the differente scripts. I check for a new version only when an old one bothers me somehow, and i can't find the solution with a rapid inspection to the code. And when i add movies, i add many (a couple of hundreds) at a time. Then a not working script REALLY bothers me.

For example, the amazon script is not working from a time now, and i don't have the time to dive in the code and find the problem, not even speak start scanning the covers myself (Amazon should send a scan of the cover with every movie i buy). So, i rely on someone else fixing it. Maybe i miss that new version too, what i hope comes with the package you recomend.

English is not my mother tong, so i ask to look through any error you may find.

To know when the package is updated with scripts, you can either
check the date of the release (as the version number does not change when I just update scripts),
check that section: viewforum.php?f=3
check news at the bottom of the AMC page: www.antp.be/software/moviecatalog
or register to the newsletter.
As you noticed, you can find recently updated scripts on www.antp.be/temp/scripts but you can more easily updated them by running the script called "update scripts".
In a future version (some day, when I will have time - but it is the top-priority feature) I'll add a more advanced auto-update for the scripts.
