I do not think that it is possible currently (the report engine handles this, but I think that I have to add something in the program to make this works - or maybe it works already, but then I do not know how :D)

After some test i arrived to have the result !!!!!

Here you can download the report file but only during next 24 h

http://dl-3.free.fr/52616e646f6d4956854 ... 4/_JP1.frf

the only thing who does'nt work is the page count on the header.
If you have some ideas about this it could be great.

Same error here.

And when you open this template in the 'designer' and choose 'file - variable list' and then click on a variable, there pops up following error message : "Access violation at address 004B5134 in module 'AMCReport.exe'.Read of address 00000004."

What is strange about this is, that the error message shows up on many other templates too, but I cannot say if this started when first opening the JP1.frf template or if this error was there before (cause I never used the report builder before).

Do you have this error message too ?

The solution: After opening the variable editor again and pressing the button 'variables' and then 'ok' the "Access violation" error is gone. Now you can simply save the template and next time the "undefined category" error in the JP1.frf template does not appear again.

Btw, the page counter works fine here. It's just the date field that is not working, but I have not searched for the reason.

Don't know why this is, but it is ;)

Maybe I should try the Report Designer when I find some time for this ^^

I use french language in amc and the designer is in english

I have no category error
In the main windows after select frf file i use custom advanted order "category" "and translatedtitle" (catégorie et titre traduit en francais)

and in the designer in the group band option the condition is "[Category]"

I have done 3 screen copy to explain what i have done.
Perhaps i could help you to understand your error message or simply recreate a new report.

Well, I guessed that's what you did, I just do not find why on my PC it does not work.
Anyway, to come back to your first problem, the page number: I now have an idea. In "File" -> "Report options" (in the report designer), did you check the "Two-pass report" option? This must be enabled to have page numbers working, I think.
