Hello Everyone
I've just faced a small problem using AMC: in time I made multiple copies for the same clip, then put that clip within different videos (home movies) burned on diverse disks.
Practically, the situation is: I have the same clip, encoded with diverse codecs (DivX, VCD, DVD, etc), burned on different media... When I want to store such a clip in AMC, I need to create a number of copies in database as many "phisical" copies I have (but it actually is the same clip), thus the program isn't able to keep the track of clips - it rather tracks the disks...
I'd certainly could use a feature allowing me to specify a "version" for each clip (in a listbox): when I change the version, I should be able to change the codec and the DiskLabel cotaining that version of clip...
Do I make sense?
Thanks in Advance!
Multiple Copies
In the future I plan to add the possibility to handle medias and movies separately in the program; i.e. a media can contain several movies and a movie could be on several medias. But it will require lots of changes so I am not even sure it will be done some day.
I do not know if it would help you in this case.

Thanks for your answer, AntP - it was quite fast, I did not expect it so soon
I guess it's not simple, and as long as it is not too much required it may not deserve the effort.
Thanks for taking me into account for your futher development plans.
