I don't know if this is what dandelion is looking for, but the script Allgame imports info from the english web site allgame.com (if you want to try this script, I recommand you to use the one coming with amc 3.5 rc6)

the principe is:
1) input the name of the platform (with amc 3.5 you can default it, so you don't have to re-enter each time : see options)
2) enter the name of the game
and the job is done
