Loans Problem

Post by Guest »

Hi,

I've downloaded RC6 of Ant Movie Catalog and I've a problem with Loans window (F9).

When I select a Borrower and try to sort his films for "Title" I got this window error:

'2001 - Odissea nello spazio' is not a valid integer value.

If I try to delete this film in borrower's list, then another film displays the same error... :(

The error does not occur on old 3.4.3 version. The database is the same and was imported correctly by new RC6....

After this error it's not more possible to display none of Borrower's films... I must restore backup copy of PREFS.XML file to continue to work with Borrower's list.

Oh... there's another strange thing: why there're 2 (two) "Title" fields after "Nr" for each Borrower's list (Bottom Loans window) . The first of this two "Title" would be called "Label"... or not?

N.B.: Sort work correctly and no error was displayed if I click on "Nr" field or on the first "Title" field.

Sorry for my english. I hope I've explained correctly the problem, if not ask me more info....

However Ant Movie Catalog is a very Cool prog. Great work...

I guess I forgot to update the sort functions after modifying the columns. That's strange that nobody had this error before, I'll check that.

It's an error in the English translation file (and few others too) that do not happen if you select "english default"

Another Loans Problem....

Post by NaM »

Hi antp,

I've another Loans problem with RC6 of Ant Movie Catalog.
When I select a Borrower's list and try to "Check in" (CTRL+I) a film the program do a strange operations:

- sometimes it "Check in" all the films and non only the selected...
- sometimes it "Check in" a few films (random numbers)...
- sometime it "Check in" the selected films...

On 3.4.3 version there' re no problems....

Cheers, Gianluca....

Is one of the options enabled? (in the "Options" button of the Loans window)

Post by NaM »

Sorry again,

I've just downloaded RC7.

I don't know if you have corrected the sorting problem in Loans window described above, but RC7 still have this problem when I try to sort Borrower's list clicking on Title column....

It's my problem or RC7 is still buggy in this option? :(

Thank and sorry... ;)
