After so many years, is there any easy way for AMC to read content from nfo file in the same folder when scanning media files?

Sorry guys, but I intend to keep Pocket AMC Reader strictly a reader. It would be way too much work and my free time is limited. :(

Unfortunately, this value (folder to scan during media import) can not be assigned to a field directly during media import.
You can use the script UpdateField after import to assign the value to a specified field or change the default value of the specified field in preferences before import ...

Replace fieldSource in script by the field where you store full filepath (e.g. fieldUrl )
You can find all field constants in Help > Technical Information > Script files creation.

the preview would list the Media Label, Path upto folder name of movie,etc.

Is it possible to use the "Source Folder" during media import to update a field for that movie?

Currently, I upload each folder, run Update Fields script and update the source folder details into Source field against that movie. Too painful!

Any guidance would be appreciated.

I use thumbgen for creating movie sheets and while creating this I save the thumbgen data which is in .tgmd format.

This is a zip file which contains movie data, scraped data (from IMDB, etc) as well as fan art,etc.

Is there a possibility that someone can whip up a mod to import AMC related ...

I've started to import media into the database following all the good advices I got from my previous posts here.

At the moment my "routine" is:

1) Import media specifying a directory
2) load the custom column I defined (for consistency)
3) Once the media is imported run the two custom script:

I catalog movies on PC.
Export XML and view catalog on Android Phone
Watch movie and update comments / ratings / anything on movie details on Android phone.
Sync this new stuff BACK ...

Will use batch mode 2 for now and learn more of scripting.
