Ant Renamer + WinBuilder on renaming the Windows folder

I am looking to rename my "program files," "windows," and "documents and settings" folders from a boot cd so I have no conflicts during a windows re installation...

will livexp and ant renamer work?

Ant Renamer will just change the name like if you do it manually. It is rather for handling large amount of files, in this case I do not think it would really be useful.

I see. Thank you for your speedy reply antp. Do you have any idea if renaming these protected folders from a linux boot cd will be simple and native to LiveXP, VistaPE, nativeEx, React Os..etc? Will built in xp user permissions burden such a transaction?

You also would have to update Windows registry, as the location of these special paths is stored somewhere.
Unfortunately I cannot help you more. I did that on Windows 95/98 long time ago, but it is not as simple in the more recent NT-based versions.
