wrong site address for IMDB

I have looked at the IMDB script, program preferences and searched this forum for the issue; no luck.
I have used the Ant Catalog for a while and never had this problem. When I try to add a new movie now (worked before) I get a potential security error. In the script for IMDB all of the references to the URL for IMDB are correct. However, looking at the script listing when IMDB is selected the Site Address: is us.imdb.com. I believe this is causing the problem, but I cannot locate where this is set. How do I change this to remove the "us."?
(I'm sure Firefox and Edge throw this error because it is not an address for a secure site.)
1. Open Ant Catalog
2. Select tools/scripting
3. Select IMDB
4. Click in (bottom-right) on the Site Address: link (security issue with Firefox or MS Edge
Thanks
Rich

That address is just in the properties of the script, it is just for displaying there, it is not actually used when the script runs.
Which version of the script do you have?
Current one is 4.018, if you have an older one you can update it by running "Update scripts" script.

You probably got the improved version made a few months ago by Hierulf but that one has not be updated, unfortunately.
Try getting the one from "Update scripts" (running that script at the top of the list), or get it from
http://update.antp.be/amc/scripts/
The "official" IMDb script version that should work is 4.018, though that other people seem to still have problems with it:

What version of the script do you have?
(and what does it have to do with Firefox?

)

Good Morning,
The script version is 4.016
When checking the sute us.imdb.com
I get the following:
Did Not Connect: Potential Security Issue
Firefox detected a potential security threat and did not continue to us.imdb.com because this website requires a secure connection.
What can you do about it?
us.imdb.com has a security policy called HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), which means that Firefox can only connect to it securely. You can’t add an exception to visit this site.
The issue is most likely with the website, and there is nothing you can do to resolve it. You can notify the website’s administrator about the problem.
https://us.imdb.com/
I have not been able to update any movie with this script.
Regards
Davezn

As said above, the address mentioned in the script info is not actually used by the script, it is just there for info.
As I also said above, current version is 4.018, so you should simply upgrade the script:

Good Morning,
Updated script to current version is 4.018,
Works in Batch Mode 0
Does not work in Batch Mode 1.
Therefore, I have to run in batch mode 0 only, so cannot run 30 movies in batch mode 1 just slightly inconvieniant
Regards
David

Sorry for the delay, I don't always have a lot of time for checking the forum.
Indeed there seem to be an issue with batchmode=1.
The only feature of that mode is that it does not prompt for the movie selection from a list each time.
For 30 movie with batchmode=0 it is still not a too heavy task: you just have to pick the first movie from the list manually each time it suggests it.
I'll try to find a few minutes to see if I can easily fix this in the next days.

I've updated the script as version 4.022 (I bypassed a few numbers, to avoid confusion with the 4.021 version that was on the forum and mentioned above)
Batchmode should work now, I've tested with just titles and with titles+years. But I did not test a lot of cases.
I also changed the URL displayed in the script properties (the origin of this thread, even if it does not have anything to do with the behaviour of the script).
I fixed the display results, adding spaces and parenthesis to avoid having all info stuck together (as a quick fix, hoping it works in all cases, it can be improved later).

For future issues, please rather use
https://forum.antp.be/phpbb3/viewtopic.php?t=33691 which was the "official" IMDb thread of the last few months (it is easier for me if all issues of that script are in the same place, rather than having various threads).
