well sorry to do this but I've no longer got time to work on my template, so I'm leaving the official version at 0.7. I have however uploaded what I've done for 0.8 at http://twink.orcon.net.nz/template0.8.rar however this version isn't finished being debugged, and I don't think it works in Mozilla again (so for mozilla support you'll have to stick with 0.7) I am aware that I fixed a number of things in this version that were wrong in 0.7.

NEW IN 0.8
* Separated Javascript, HTML and Movies (Movies now in Movies.XML)
* Setting maxPerPage to 0 shows all movies in the category
* Ability to dynamically change layout (Choose Layout.xml in options)
* Shows sorted field (Small Triangle in Column Title)

I tried to use the last version you made (0.8) but I don't really understand.
I've exported my db in html and what template must I use ? The .html in the 0.8 rar file ? or 0.7 (the old one) ? When I export (I tried both) in movies.xml in the right folder with the right files and executed Movies.html it show me : the top icons and "Please wait while list loads..." and doesn't go on. When I've opened the xml file it shows me :

I also noticed that there is a little error in the .rar file :

! C:\Documents and Settings\Kheops Marginal\Bureau\template0.8.rar: CRC failed in themes\Thumbs.db. The file is corrupt ! C:\Documents and Settings\Kheops Marginal\Bureau\template0.8.rar: Unexpected end of archive

I think I've tried what I have to do.

That may be caused by an incomplete download or if you use an old version of WinRAR (less than 3.0)

I use WinRar 3.00 ad It's impossible to download the right version of the template...always this error at Thumbs.db

And, except this problem, what I've done is OK ?

Actually I think that thumbs.db is useless, I guess it is just the file created by Windows XP when displaying thumbnails of images of a folder.

Reupped without thumbs.db (included by accident)

To use this template export it like normal using the template Twink(3).html (or whatever Ant renames it to) then save your movie database in xml format (in main window of AMC goto file save as, and select XML) as "movies.xml" i think this should work

Hey Twink , thx for your all work, too bad you stopped working on it

but anyway, I finally separated desc. and just list, my main file came out to be like 500kb

instead of 2 mb ...

also, can anybody give me a nice window.open syntaxis, that will show only close button and that's it ... or maybe won't even show it

b/c I'm not good at any html/javascript

and that will work with mozilla

also, to all, I found a program on internet, www.qolor.nl/Qhtml.html ... I think there are many similar programs, it compresses html, when I compressed my list from Twink's template, I unchecked everything but "compress body" ... and it actually seemed to work ... it compressed my 2.150 mb file into 1.196mb file .... though I can't use it, b/c it won't display cyrillic right

0.8 doesn't work on the internet or in mozilla due to the script not waiting for the XML to load before trying to display it. It loads fast enough when on a local machine usually, I set it up successfully on a local webserver of mine, but that works just due to very fast speeds again, if this small thing is fixed then it should work online, and maybe even in mozilla (not sure if there's other mozilla problems), if I have time I may look at it, I am now on holiday for a few weeks.

untill then you may have to use 0.7 to put it online (unless you feel like modifying the js files)

Also make sure you use Twink(3).html and not movies.html in the rar file, movies.html wasn't meant to be included, it contains my exported info in it.

well, I use now twink(3).html, with layout3.xml (i've changed it in the html file) and on my pc it works!

but on the internet not...

Ok first don't just use twink(3).html you have to export it to get the fields filled in (haven't got around to adding this to the xml).

the error you get is "The Data neccessary to complete this function is not yet available" like I said it doesn't load fast enough on the net to work, as I didn't add the code, 0.8 never was finished. 0.7 works fine
