I thought this could be the reason for the error... Then let's hope that the original authors, Hubert Kosior, KaraGarga and Chetan Rao - script All Movie Guide (pic).ifs, will take care of it as soon as possible :D

On the IMDB script, when i import information for a movie. The plot that's imported is only the short version. If you go to a movie on imdb, under plot you can only see the first part of it. In order to see the whole plot you have to click more[/].

If you have still an older script version, download latest script version from http://update.antp.be/amc/scripts or use script UPDATE_SCRIPTS for that. Make sure that script option "DescriptionSelection" is set to "1" or "2" (you find script options on the right side of scripting window, when you mark the script blue).

I am running the latest version including scripts and when I try to download data from IMDb (USA site) the script finds the data, I make the selection and I can go to the web site to view but when I attempt to download the data I get Script error in "IMDB": out of range at line 401.

I'm running Windows 7 however it also occurs on my XP SP3 box. The title I was searching for was the old SciFi classic When Worlds Collide (1951). I have tried other sites in the scripts collection but the same problem occurs - different error number.. I have uninstalled and removed all remaining files except for my catalog data and reinstalled but to no avail. :??:

This problem was fixed with script versions 3.45/3.46. You can download latest script version 3.46 from http://update.antp.be/amc/scripts/IMDB.ifs or use script [UPDATE SCRIPTS] (but not tested on Windows 7 yet).

I'm running Windows7. I have dropped back to version 3.5.1.0 with the updated IMDB script and it works again.

A few other oddities under Windows 7 in the Script window the section 'Execution Options' the resize tool doesn't work - all the other sections do resize. You can barely see 'allow the script to...' tick box.

The odd thing is when I first installed Windows7 the program ran flawlessly so maybe a MS automatic update has changed something. Currently I'm running Build 7057 so maybe I should update to build 7100rc? .

My friend runs a XP SP3 box and experienced the same problem but since updating the script the problem has been solved. Many thanks to Antoine and other forum members.

There were few changes on scripting engine on 3.5.1.1, but they affected mainly Delphi's date/time functions, which are not used on IMDB script - so this sounds strange.

Did you try installing AMC to any user folder (e.g. documents) instead of program's folder, to avoid conflicts with Windows UAC (User Access Control) ? And did you update the script manually or using script UPDATE_SCRIPTS, as this might be affected by UAC, too ?

About the "execution options" frame - it does not resize on my Vista, too. Not sure if it's a bug or a feature, but resizing isn't neccessary on this frame, as its content won't change.

I did a standard install to Program files and I download the IMDB script manually and copied it into the Script folder. It now works as I indicated in my previous post.

If Windows 7's UAC has problems with AMC's scripts, this mean that I really will have to make a UAC-compatible version... It is planned, but I have to find few hours for doing that.

I did a short test and on version 2.39 it seems to work. Download latest version from http://update.antp.be/amc/scripts/ or use script [UPDATE SCRIPTS].
