Hi

for me this is the best film database programm ever (and trust me i have tested a lot)
About version: i don't realy thing there is any difference (for me;-) if i use v.3 or v.4. Add what you can in this version, we will use it for a while, send whishes and then you will decide what to do finaly.
The thing that bugs me much is a lack of DVD-VIDEO support (I have a lots of DVDs besides big avi collection) so i need integration of my dvd collection in AMC. Till now i use MovieDB (the best in this class) software for separate dvd catalog. But developer stop the project recently, on his web page (http://e142.ryd.student.liu.se/moviedb/) the guy is post for download the source code of moviedb 2.0 rc6, so my idea is this: take the source code, see if you can add the dvd video compability of dvd video from movie db into AMC, and if you can i'll bi the happiest guy in the world :grinking:
Like i sayd above DVD-VIDEO impor of moviedb is the best in this class, it takes the .IFO file of DVD disk and add into catalog every info for the dvd movie you ever need (size, scenes, languages, subtitles and many more.)
Please see what you can do and make us happy :clapping:
I hope info is helpful for you and keep goin' with the wonderful software you programmed. Thank you for AMC

another thing just came in my mind ;)
in moviedb when search resoults are too many you simply can find the movie manualy on IMDB and paste address in URL field on movie information and in next search moviedb search for the exact web page and have the one and only movie, very convenient and fast. See if you can use this too :innocent:

In AMC you can do it too. It depends of the scripts, but I think I did that for IMDB.
At least, I did it for Allociné : you can paste the link instead of typing the title.
What I could add is a button "enter link manually" in the window that lists the results.

(well, partial unicode : only movie fields, not the whole user interface, and not for printing)
