thanks for your effort, for putting time into this nice program.

i can't find if this was mentioned, but when i'm trying to add a new field beginning with a digit, it won't accept

Thanks!
For the field tag it is normal.
The field tag have to begin with letter [a-zA-Z] or '_'.
After you can use letters [a-zA-Z], '_' or digits.

The versions come a little too fast for that...
For being official, translation files and help files should be updated, but I do not know who would do it

For translation files, I only translate in english (template for other languages) and french because it is my mother language

Usually it is good to wait some time in case users find bugs before using a version as official one, but here as I said they come so fast...

One thing I am afraid is that I'll get questions/bugs by e-mail rather than here on the forum, but I could forward these to you in case it concerns new features I suppose?

There are many changes in futur version 4.1, so don't start this now.
I will try to set added/deleted/changed translations to help person who wants to translate file in other language from official version 3.5.

Yes, wait at least last version 4.1, it is more stable (I think) and has a lot of new features

je ne sais pas si cela a été deja dit ,mais chez moi le classement "affichage groupé" par champ personnalisé n'est pas sauvegarder a la fermeture de AMC as contrario du champ films qui lui l'ai .

Etant donné que les champs personnalisés peuvent varier d'un catalogue à un autre, si le trie ou le groupage est fait sur un champ personnalisé, alors c'est la valeur par défaut qui est sauvegardé (numéro pour le trie et <aucun> pour le groupage)

Since the custom fields can vary from one catalog to another, if the sorting or grouping is done on a custom field, then the default value is saved (by number for sort and <none> for grouping)

If they are not doing it anymore or do not have time for that, then other people could continue it.
Usually in the beta-test phase I was sending updated translations files to the "official" translators to get the new translations for the final release version (without making interfaces changes in the meantime, just fixing bugs).

il n’y a pas un moyen (pas trop difficile) pour qui je puisse édité a la main un groupage sur un champ personnalisé de mon choix ?
