Thanks so much for replying... especially as I now see that it was a stupid question (ie I should have looked more carefully at the preferences).

I have a large database of films in AMC already and many of the titles of the films start with the words "the", "a" and "an". Is there a batch process that I could use to remove the words "the" and "a" from the beginning of the titles to make it poss...
