The imdb-import gave me some error, and it did not seem like it was customizable (the imdb-script in ant is very nice because it allows you to customize several aspects of the data-gathering).

It replacement for DivX ;-) Db and NOT My Divx

As of yesterday it supports fetching data from web. (Currently only IMDb is implemented) but as author stated it uses python for scripts and anybody can write new scripts.

Where did you get the idea that it's primary goal is to collect only divx files ...

I contacted the author and he said, that imdb import will be available in next 14 days.

Hm. xCollect has all those fields + a lot more and it doesn't use tabbed interface.

The other day I was looking for free replacement for AMC and I have to say that I found it.

It has a nice gui a lot of fields, full serie support and most importatntly it has support for games collection, author said book collections will be available soon (some of it is already visible).
