Igot the latest ver from the site and it ran fine, aded my 140 movies, and now when I try to start the program it gives me an error, "Runtime error 216 at 00403ec2".

Starts fine in compability mode Win9x under XP but not with other compability mode settings.

Program errors on start under windows XP (home & Prof) changed to changed to run under Win98 and it works fine

Same Problem here...
Software does not start in all modes under XP Prof except Win98 Compatibility-Mode.

But some seldom times - it works (1 out of 20 times). But i can't get any clue why or why not. With win98 mode - it works everytime very well!

Same problem, however it ran fine on windows XP pro with a pentium III, when I replaced it with a pentium 4, I got the same error. Maybe something with hypertrhreading?!
I changed the compatibility to Windows 2000 and it runs fine now.

It is a problem with one of the Intel chipsets for Pentium IV.
I hope that in AMC 4 the problem will be gone.

mais j'ai po cette propriété sous win2000

Sous Windows 2000 l'option est cachée :

with the runtime error at start up, so i just reinstalled the software
and after that it worked fine.

i think that either theres a bug that changes the exe file of the prog,
or maybe it saves settings in the registry that cause errors the next
time its started.

you should check out what settings the setup program resets.

There IS a bug in the program, that's sure.
This bug seems to occur only in last 3.4.2 version and only on some Intel Pentium 4 chipset.
But for some unknown reasons, sometimes the bug does not occur. So maybe you are simply lucky... or maybe you had another problem than the one that most of the people have
