Adding New Movies is OK, but export to HTML is not working

Hi,

I have used Ant Movie Catalog for months now, but recently I had to format my hard drive and start from scratch.

So, I backed up the entire BuyPin Software folder so I would keep my database, xml, and HTML templates.

On the newly formatted computer, I installed Ant Movie Catalog 3.4.2 again and copied over my files that I backed up previously.

When I open the movie database, I can see all of the movies that I added previously and I can add new movies. However, when I export to HTML file, the HTML file is not updated and neither are the images located in the 'C:\Program Files\BuyPin Software\Ant Movie Catalog' directory. This directory still shows the pictures from before, but none of the new images can be found. :??:

Therefore, when I try to upload my new HTML file via FTP, the new movies that I added are not there, neither are the image files. It's like the database (movies.amc) is being updated, but the HTML file and images are not. :??:

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Shannon

I'm not an expert in amc but as antp asked me to monitor the forum I'll try to answer your question :p

Are your sure your files are not read-only? If you have backed-up amc on a cd files are probably read-only so remove the argument and try again... Or wait for antp's return :D

Maybe that you opened the exported html file instead of the template ?
Be sure that in the export window the html code looks like a template, i.e. with lots of $$ITEM everywhere.
