OK, here the problem in detail:

I have a movie where the German OFDB reports everything but the movie description, so I went to IMDB, DEselected everything but this description so I can add only this missing to my DB, but AMC also updates the genre-field, although the checkbox for that was unchecked!?!

Any ideas if it's me doing something wrong or the program?

That's quite strange... If the problem can be reproduced it may be interesting (even if it is a bug I won't be able to correct it, you'll have to wait for version 4).
