When i launch the prg ant renamer (2.12 or older) , i can see the prg icon on the task bar flashing but i can't see the window application opened anymore !!!
I have tried everything (deleted, ccleaner, re installed, last version, old version)
If i launch the application in an administrator mode, it's ok, the window prg appear BUT i can't use the drag and drop anymore !!!!
I'm running on windows 8.1

Possibly the window is outside screen area, in case you moved it to another monitor when you had a second monitor connected?

You can move back the window by pressing Alt+Space to open the window menu, then select "Move", press an arrow key to start moving the window, then when you move the mouse it should reappear.
Or a more radical way would be to delete the preferences file (renamer.xml, most likely stored in ProgramData)
