IMDb Script timeout

Today the IMDb script I've been using the get information on the movies I watch suddenly stopped working. It now freezes, and eventually tells me that it timed out. Been looking through the forums here all night for help with no luck sadly. Some users have previously said that the problem "fixes itself eventually," however, this hasn't been the case for me so far. I have the latest version of the script and ant movie catalog. I don't use any proxies and I tried disabling my firewall. Other scripts seem to work fine, also I can connect to the IMDb website via Firefox so I know my internet and IMDb are both working. I had even added a few movies a few hours before it stopped working. Any help would be very much appreciated.

For me it seems to still work ; you say it is since today, maybe it will work again later in the next days.
I don't really know what could cause the problem in this case though.

Thanks for the reply, I will wait a full week and see if anything changes. I'll update this post if I ever get it working.

I still can't get the IMDb script to connect, however, I did find that the script titled OMDb does the same thing as the IMDb script essentially, and most importantly, it works. Just wanted to update this in case anyone else ever runs into this problem.

OMDb has now stopped working as well. It worked for almost 2 days straight before stopping. I suppose I will just have to find a new movie catalog program. This is very saddening as I used ant movie for many years without a problem. Thanks for the great program, I wish I could continue to use it.

It is weird that you get these problems, as it seems it is an isolated problem (no other similar report recently).
Did you import a lot of movies on a short time? Maybe the site detected a high traffic coming from your computer? (though you say that you can still access it via the web browser...)

No, I only add about 2 movies a day. I found another script called IFDb which I can connect to, the problem is that the script isn't entirely in english and seems to have less results than IMDb and OMDb. I will keep waiting and see if anything changes, I think I should probably just get used to adding my movies manually though.

Thanks for the reply J. Still can't get IMDb to work, however, OMDb has magically started working again, which for now, solves all my problems. However, last time OMDb only worked for 2 days before stopping, so I'll see how it goes for the next few days.
