Way to import files with Encoding information

Is there a way to import and filter out encoding information?
For example, when I attempt to import
A.Charlie.Brown.Christmas.1965.BluRay.1080p.VC1.AC3.Remux-HiFi.mkv
It's almost impossible to continually add a specific filter for every movie I add, is there a way to enforce a filter every time? Or even load a set of filters from a file?
