This is an issue which would be affecting every user whose collection has grown past 3000 titles. At this stage many of the categories in the "Statistics" section become unreadable as the visible portion of the window cannot display all the data without the use of scrollbars. And there are no scrollbars in any of the statistics windows

I'd written to Antoine about four years ago requesting that this feature be added at some stage in future versions, but it hasn't yet happened, and the need for this feature is growing every day.

Take a look at the following screenshot of the "Date Added" category in the "Statistics" window:



As you can see, in the display bar on the right hand side, I cannot browse movies added after Jan 2009 (and this is on a 1920x1080 display). The same problem occurs in the "Country" and "Length" sections, among others.

Would someone please be able to add scrollbars in the zones indicated in the image above in one of the new versions?

Hi guys, Soulsnake appears to be on a well deserved break after the beta release. Does anyone have any information on the introduction of scrollbars in 'Statistics' windows (see the first post above)? Is it a feature that is likely to be considered for 4.2.1 final release?

Would be grateful for some information on this from any of the programmers. Thanks for the beta release.

Maybe I will add an option to display legend in another panel with a scrollbar if it is OK for you ?

A solution may be to put the Chart component in a scrollbox, allowing to increase the size of the component outside the window bounds and have automatic scrollbars. Then you "just" have to compute the size required for the Chart area to display all the info.
Also, separating the legend would probably be good as it needs a different scroll than the chart, but I'm not sure if it is possible?

Hi Soulsnake & Antoine, great to see you guys thinking about the issue: that's already assured me that this issue will be taken care of.

It really doesn't matter to me 'how' this problem is solved: all that I want to do is to be able to access all the information that is there in the statistics window. At the moment I cannot do that in 'date added,' 'country,' 'length,' 'year,' 'director,' 'producer,' 'writer,' 'composer' etc. because of the absence of a scrollbar. I have about 3900 titles in the catalogue now and the list will only grow in coming years.

There is no hurry to address this issue. I remember messaging Antoine about this nearly five or six years ago. And it's been more than a year since I posted this message in the forum. So waiting some more time is not a problem at all as long as the issue gets taken care of at some stage.

I didn't add any feature in AMC since more than seven years anyway
All what was added since then was done by Soulsnake (who continued the development in 2011).

Thanks a lot, Soulsnake: I installed the latest beta today (26/07/2015 release) and the vertical scrollbar is there working perfectly well in all the statistics windows where it is needed. Hope the horizontal scrollbar too will make its appearance in due course. Thanks again!
