Features/Mod?

Sorry, but I couldn't make up my mind of where to put this.
I wanted to know if it is possible, mod or otherwise, to have a drag drop feature for my home videos, tag videos, mass edit/create tags as well, search or order by tags backup the database, and have redundancy if a file is moved so that I can either point the program to the right place or the program will search for the file in some manner.
I have found several programs that will do one or two of these things but never the whole package. In fact the closest I've come is a window program:
TMPGEnc Karma
http://tmpgenc.pegasys-inc.com/en/product/tmka.html
Downside is it won't work in WINE. It also lacks the redundancy I mentioned if a file is moved.
Adobe Bridge and it works for some video content but not all; it doesn't have the functionality to handle MKV, FLV, etc...
Vegas Pro 12, on the other hand does seem to do this but is clunky for video managment beyond a video project.

Some other programs I have tried:

Ant Movie Catalog
Home Video Database
Simple Movie Catalog
Movie Central 4.0

Pitivi might be making a full featured editor with a media library > http://fundraiser.pitivi.org/#plan
The bullet points they mention relating to my needs are:
Tagging clips in the media library
Ability to add metadata on media assets
Let people search content from many providers in the media library
