No longer auto sorting by title when typing ind new movies. Now i have to press enter to make it sort. Worked in previous versions, and was quite handy to avoid duplicates.

Is there some way to get that auto sorting back ?

Hi,

The movie list is not refresh anymore automatically each time you make a change (add char, remove char, ...) to avoid slowdowns when you are writing text.

If you want to refresh movie list you can press ENTER or ECHAP when you are writing text in a field or move mouse on movie list.

I could add an option to restore the old behavior but I do not recommend it because it is a heavy treatment for a little more. Just press ENTER or ECHAP to refresh the movie list and see if the movie already exists is not so constraining I think.

Personally i would appreciate the option to turn it on. I really never experienced any slowdowns while writing, and thats with 2600 titles in the database. Actually i found it to be more inconvenient that it doesnt refresh automatically.


I hope you will consider putting the option back in, in a future release..

Maybe using a timer to refresh only if no more keystroke after 2 seconds or something like that?

Would make no difference to me. The point was to make it sort instantly. I would still prefer the option to turn it on or off.

I actually wanted to revert to version 3.5.1, but then the imdb script didnt work anymore
