How do i prevent the IMDB script from translating the title i have entered to my localized language (DK) ?

I type in the english title in AMC, and when i get the movie info from IMDB, the script translates the title to danish, and i don't want that.

Hope you can help.

You mean translated titles on results list ? This is new, or is it working this way any longer ? I'm not really sure about that, as I only had some US movies on my test catalog, which results in english titles list then. Never seen the results sorted on original title yet..

Since 25th March there is a new version of script, but it has the same issue

I see. I missed that the results list had translated titles in it, too, and thought the problem was only for imported movie data from localized imdb sites then.

I'll see how this can be improved, but not before weekend as it's not a bug that breaks the script and I don't have much time now.

PS: The update from 25th added a different bugfix for searching movies that do not show a results list, but go straight to the movie page instead (see viewtopic.php?p=31923#31923 for details).

Any news regarding this script ?

Sorry, I spent nearly 3 hours on rewriting and testing code, but still struggled with some problems on local IMDb sites when I stopped. For personal reasons I currently cannot spend enough time on the net to finish this. Well, reality is what happens while we make other plans, I guess..

workaround found! ;-)

setting a US proxy in Tools -> Preferences -> Scripting -> Use proxy when accessing the internet the imdb script will search and find titles according to english titles, and, of course english titles will be correctly shown in the "original title" field.
Please mind that this setting might change working behaviour for any other ant script.

If you need to search titles in your own language, just disable proxy settings anytime...
