When I am using scripts to add data to my movies, I want to maintain the same subset of modifiable fields. So I removed the check marks from a number of the mod fields and closed the window. When I reopen the script window I find that check marks were restored to some of the fields I dechecked eg Description, Comments. Is there any way to maintain a consistent sub set of modifiable fields in the script window?

These are remembered for each script, when the script is launched.
So if you change these for a script, run the script before selecting another or before closing the window.

OK so say I am doing 20 movies with one script as long as I stay with that script I will not loose my dechecked fields even if for some of the movies I have to skip? But if I abort I will loose the fields? Is that right?

When you run the script it remembers what it is checked for all future executions of that particular script, even after having closed the program.
