I repaired the OFDb-mobi-IMDb script. Everything should work again. This time it took a little longer because IMDB has seemingly randomly presented the 'fullcredits' sub-page in the old or new design in the last few weeks. So I would have had to program the script twice. That makes no sense for a short transition period. Now only the new design seems to be coming (I hope in all countries).

It is updated on the server. So it can be retrieved via "Update scripts".

It took a little longer again because IMDB has been using the old or new code in recent days, seemingly at random. I hope that the new code has now become established.

Hello everyone,

I need some help. IMDb has redesigned its pages (especially the 'fullcredits' subpage). Many new categories have been added. However, IMDb now checks if JavaScript is enabled and doesn't provide usable page source code if it isn't. I can analyze the page source code if I access IMDb through a web browser (Firefox, Edge, Chrome) with JavaScript enabled. If I retrieve the subpage using AMC (GetPage), I only get a very short text that I can't use, ending with the following code:

This requires JavaScript. Enable JavaScript and then reload the page.

I suspect I can't enable JavaScript in AMC. Any other ideas?

We had that issue with IMDb a few days ago (cf the IMDb thread) but it went back as before shortly after. They probably block non-browser requests from time to time, possibly depending on the load on their servers.
But as far as I know, there is no workaround in case it is blocked like what you encountered. For Filmaffinity there was a workaround possibility using cURL, but that didn't seem to work for IMDb.
