Feature requests

Hi,

I've read that you don't develope AMC for years... Anyway, I would like to ask for some features I think would be nice:

- GetPicture, GetPage and those kind of functions, should return some code in case of 403, 404, 500 standard errors, and would be nice to be able to set if you want to get 404 messages or not.
- I would like to have more than one picture for every film... For MyFilms plugin inside MediaPortal, would be perfect to have cover and also background (from www.themoviedb.org or other sites) for each film...

Thanks!

- Custom fields would be great
- A nice feature would also be allowing command line parameters

Thanks

All these are yet on the (long) to-do list :D

command-line parameters could make AMC easily remote-driven for automated tasks... Definetely good thing.

I would love if we could create custom fields. Example: a long box (like actors) for dubbing voices; a one line box for imcdb link; another picture field, for backdrop, etc

Well if I add custom fields it would be just few simple textboxes, making something so configurable as you want is rather complicated...

No problem, it would be great anyway. Any estimated date for release?

It could be years, since I nearly never work on the program and that is not high priority...

Request for RAG indicator

I would really like to see a visual RED, AMBER and GREEN indicator for each film to indicate GOOD, TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT and STAY AWAY in addition to the comments field.

There might already be a way to do this using the custom fields but I'm not comfortable with that section of the programme.

Is there a way to perhaps change the text colour?

Thanks

You can use the color tags (which change the color of the check box in the list)
Right click on a movie or a set of movies -> "selected movies" -> "color tag"

Thanks again Antoine - this piece of software keeps getting better every time I use it.
