Automatic grabbing for dozens of movies?

Hi,

I am new here and work for the first time with this software.

By the forum search I found the tool AviList which I used to import all my films. Now I want to grab the movie infos from OFDB. Is it possible to import the infos automatically for each film on the basis of the filename? It is really annoying to enter each title for searching if there is a huge movie library ;)

Thx in advance.

Regards,
Buffo

Depending on the format of your filenames it is possible to modify current OFDb script and search for these titles. In which field (Original title, URL, ..) and which format (The Rebel, The_Rebel, d:/movies/the_rebel,...) are your filenames stored using AviList ?

Thx for your reply :)

The format is a csv file which contains the following fields:

"Original Title";"Source";"Files Sizes";"Number of disks";"Video Format";"Resolution";"Framerate";"Video Bitrate";"Audio Format";"Audio Bitrate"

Example:
"Cheech & Chong - 1 - Viel Rauch Um Nichts";"P:\Video\Filme\C\Cheech & Chong - 1 - Viel Rauch Um Nichts.avi";"700";"1";"XviD MPEG-4"

You have imported that CSV file into AMC database, I guess (Datei - Importieren - CSV/Excel) ?

Then you should have field Original Title filled with movie names. When you open "Scripting" window and choose OFDB script, on the right side of the window you will find some script options. Set "AskForMovieTitles" to "0" and the script won't ask for input of movie titles anymore, if it finds it on original or translated title field.

Take care that you have downloaded latest OFDB script version from http://update.antp.be/amc/scripts/ or via script "UPDATE SCRIPTS".

Thx a lot! With the update it seems to work. I only have to do a little bit tuning manually :)

Great software :)
