Movie genre statistics

Hi

I have a suggestion: in the statistics, why aren't the genres separated for movies that have more than one?

Example: Hard Candy is, according to IMDb, a "Drama, Thriller". In the statistics, there should be a "Drama" category and a "Thriller" category, where Hard Candy would be, instead of "Drama, Thriller", because this way we have a lot of categories with few movies each.

I hope you understand what I'm trying to say.

Hi,
Currently multiples genres are not really supported by the program.
Same problem occurs for grouping movies in main list.
In a future version this will be fixed but for the moment there is no real solution except putting only one value in the category field, sorry.

I see. Thanks for the reply! :)

Would it be too hard to just look for commas in that field and then separate the values in the statistics?

Hi,

you might want to check Bug Movie Catalog, which is really Ant Movie Catalog fork and adds new features - one of them being support for mutiple genres.
