Ok, you as Admin, you speak " ONLY " English and Frensh. But enoth other Poepl speak German. I think we will help us self, if we get the cance to write in hour Language.

Just make an Test. Creade so Options for 4 Languages. You´ll see the Resonace, or ?

The problem is that AntP can't control what we say. But he is the Admin and he is liable for all content. If there is any criminal content in any language he can get problems. My meaning.

Rübezahl: You can write and u can understand english. My english is really bad, but nearly every problem which I've had is solved. They understand your "nice" english too. Try it.

I do not know... I already do not really like the fact that there are lots of french topics that are not easy to differentiate from the english topics (only few people put [FR] in front of the title ). It would be nice if PHPBB has a "filter" feature, allowing to put topics in categories, e.g. one category per language, in each section.
I know that it is planned, but I do not know when they'll do it.

for the french part you can't stop it i think, because you have answered to often to stop it now, but you can speak french so this isn't really a problem

for the german part, i would do the co admin, but i think there isn't a big problem for the germans to speak english

so maybe just create a french section

Yes you could be moderator, why not.
The problem if I create French and German sections is that there won't be the scripts/comments/help/... sections.
A good thing would be subcategories in each section, or that the posters always put the [FR] tag in the front of the french topics.

maybe you create prefixes for the subject and require them for posting

prefix: [EN] [DE] [FR] [DU]

or subcategories for the sections with that prefixes

Subcategories do not exist yet on PHPBB

actually I do not really like to have to make changes to PHPBB since it makes the upgrades more difficult.

Für alle die interesse an einem deutschen Forum haben. Ich könnte schon eines einrichten. Webspace hätte ich. So ein PHPBB ist ja schnell aufgebaut.

nah, an extra forum isn't necessary, it never would be recognized by enough people, this forum is dead enough, so we only would make it more dead
