First, congratulations on that excelent program.
I have suggestion for importing file info (mainly codecs). I saw GSpot 2.1.
It has detailed information about movie file. I suggest calling the author and make new Ant movie catalog with GSpot implementation (you two authors can together make very good program). I think with that you'll make all users happy.

What useful information does it have, that should be taken in the movie list ?

It gives better codec information. I'm just suggesting that, even without that, your movie catalog is good (it's better than any other).
