Help with the IMDB script
SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!!! I have downloaded the most recent script for imdb but all I get is "No Movie Found" this is for old movies and new movies. I'm not a programmer, so not able to do the adjustments myself (wouldn't even know where to start). I love my Movie Catalog program, but don't want to have to enter all the information myself.
Hi.
IMDB script version 3.23 works without problems. Make sure you really have latest version, for that go to scripts listing page, mark the IMDB script and look for version number on the left, bottom corner of the window.
If you downloaded the latest version from http://update.antp.be/amc/scripts/ manually, save it to the \scripts folder to make AMC use it, or simply use the "Update Scripts" script to download and install the latest scripts from within AMC (after that close the scripting window once, so that the list will be updated).
Please tell me more details about your AMC version, script version and your script settings (options) if still having trouble - and at least one film that does not work for you

Now What????
I downloaded the newest version from ANT, and I ran the Update Scripts script. It still isn't working. Movie Catalogue version 3.5.1.0; IMDB script version 3.0.
So your IMDB script version 3.0 is outdated. You need to download latest version 3.23.
But I'm wondering why your update through Update_Scripts did fail
Just two ideas..
1. Your IMDB script (or all scripts) might be set to "read only", i.e. when you copied it from a cd-rom. Then Update_Scripts could fail saving the new script after download, and I don't know if AMC would give an error message.
2. You are using Microsoft Vista with your scripts folder saved within your programs folder. As far as I know Vista blocks programs writing to programs folder. If so, you need to give write permissions to AMC for the programs folder or use a scripts folder outside programs folder (this could be set in AMC preferences).
