REQ: .m2ts/.evo/.mkv etc support in AMC

Hi Ant,
Support for importing .mkv (Matroska), .m2ts (Bluray transport stream) and .evo (hddvd) file information would be nice, as this is "doable" with the new mediainfo.dll. Support for Matroska is semi working at the moment however the bitrate of audio and video does not get imported.
Thanks a lot,

Hi,
For mkv, it should work if you just replace the 0.7.5.2 (the one shipped with AMC 3.5.1) by the 0.7.5.5
For m2ts and evo, I'll have to add these extensions to those linked to media info.

Hi Ant,
Thanks for the quick reply.
For Matroska container, currently all fields EXCEPT the two bitrates are populated on import (codecs detected, languages, subs, resolution, framerate, etc etc). I am currently using 7.5.5 of the mediainfo .dll (copied into the AMC directory of course).
Cheers,

I'll try to check that, but I wonder why it works with AVI and not with MKV, as all files are processed in the same way

Just FYI, now working with Mediainfo .dll version 0.7.5.9 for .MKV files (didn't test the rest yet).
Cheers,

I came across a file that ant didnt recognize...i re-encoded an mkv file with dts sound to aac (AAC LC) sound and adjusted the video bitrate. It imports everything except the video bitrate and audio bitrate.

That's rather MediaInfo which did not recognize it...
Did you use latest release of it? (I recently updated AMC to include latest DLL)

Yeah i used the latest version of ant. I assume its because i re-encoded a file to something that isnt traditional so that mediainfo does not recognize it.
