Hello, I'm new to the program. I'm running into the issue where I need to add fields which aren't present in the list, such as artist. The problem is that my DVD collection is about 200 movie DVDs and 500 music DVDs. For the music DVDs you really need to have artist to tell them apart and sort them properly. Without it I have a whole bunch with the same name and in some cases same name and release date. Currently my choices seem to be either added them in under actors, which seems innacurate, especially for music video DVDs that don't actually have the band in the video, or concatenate the artist's name and the DVD's title together as a kludge.

Is there something I'm just missing for easily adding additional fields to keep track of or is there no way to do that?

Some people made translation files that change the name of the fields of the program. You can find these on the "Mods" section of this forum.
Except that, you can't add custom fields. It will maybe be added in a far future.
